Clean and Safe Ambassadors

We are happy to announce our newest program, in partnership with Downtown Cleveland Alliance, will begin soon in Midtown and we are actively looking for people interested in working as Ambassadors in their neighborhood!

Clean and Safe Ambassadors are a visible and integral presence welcoming businesses, employees, and visitors in the MidTown neighborhood. Seven days a week, Ambassadors are active from 7am - 12am, providing a wide range of supplemental services such as safety escorts, assisting with car lockouts and jump starts, and more in the MidTown area.

Ambassadors will provide a necessary alternative to public safety that is created by and for the community. This alternative model of community support will help promote the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical safety of community members.

Ambassadors will work between 24-32 hours each week and be paid up to $19 an hour.

The Director of Community Engagement will develop and lead the organization’s
strategic efforts to connect with, engage, and build equitable relationships with residents and
stakeholders.

The Director of Community Engagement will create and lead an engagement strategy and
promote a culture that elevates resident voices and is rooted in relationship building, is responsive to the community’s needs, and innovative in its implementation of projects and programming. Equity and inclusion are at the center of MidTown Cleveland’s work, and MTC must plan and conduct all projects
and initiatives through an equitable lens consistent with our organization’s values of belonging,
collaboration, connectivity, intentionality, and transparency.

Director of Real Estate

The Director of Real Estate will be responsible for overseeing economic and real
estate development projects in the MidTown service area. The MidTown service area includes MidTown,
AsiaTown, the Health-Tech Corridor, and special projects and initiatives in Hough/adjacent
neighborhoods. MTC’s development strategy is anchored in an organizational vision for “a connected
community in the center of it all, an inclusive place for people to innovate, create, prosper, and live.”

In partnership with Towards Employment, The Cleveland Neighborhood Workforce Initiative – a Community Workforce and Training Project - is designed to build community resource knowledge, engagement and increase job readiness across Cleveland neighborhoods, as well as create opportunities for job growth and workforce trainings.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Cleveland neighborhoods, its residents. The Workforce Organizer will work with their team to engage with community residents, partners and surrounding entities as they recruit and provide workforce training information. The Workforce Organizer will focus on concentrated areas for data collection, engagement and outreach in the neighborhoods that are prioritized by their CDC and Towards Employment.
